I start the week with such good intentions--at least two posts a week. That's do-able, right?
Perhaps...
But sometimes it just doesn't happen. :)
Like when I get hired very unexpectedly and almost instantaneously at a very lovely little florist shop. Which really is awesome, but also very scary/stressful because I freak-out very easily and I now have to learn a whole new job! *Shu-reeek!*
Or when the weather is so lovely outside that my free-time is spent lounging in the sun or practicing different sports with my sisters.
Thus, I find myself once again already at Saturday.
But hey. It is my blog and I suppose as longs as I'm happy with it, everything's fine...right? :)
Anyway, on to the good stuff.
Today's style is nice and easy. I just tied a scarf around my head like a headband and left well-enough alone.
Orange and blue is such a nice collar combination.

Questions...
1.)What are some of your tips for the background of blogs? Layout, colors, etc.?
I suggest going with a color that sort of feels you. Make sure to keep things fairly easy to find and don't write in a hard to read font. As tempting as that may be. ;)
2.)What are your favorite blog topics to write about? Book reviews, baking, everyday life, sewing, etc.?
3.)What are some of your favorite blog topics to read?
4.)What is your biggest blogging tip for newbies?
5.) Why did you start blogging?
2.)What are your favorite blog topics to write about? Book reviews, baking, everyday life, sewing, etc.?
Yeah...In case you haven't noticed, I'm sort of all over the place. I guess I am mostly an 'everyday life' sort of blogger. That and whatever I happen to be really into at the time.
3.)What are some of your favorite blog topics to read?
Hmmm. I'm not sure. I read a lot of kinds different blogs. I just like it when the writer has found their little niche and are enjoying themselves. It makes it fun to read.
4.)What is your biggest blogging tip for newbies?
Try to post regularly. (Says the girl who is still trying to master that one!:) I think if you work on your blog once or twice a week, you'll notice that you get more comfortable with writing posts and people with follow you more.
5.) Why did you start blogging?
I wanted a reason to make myself write a bit more. One of my sisters had a blog and it seemed like a good way to keep motivated with different things and practice writing at the same time.
I nominate:
Things that have made my week fun.
It really does't take a whole lot to entertain me. I found this Orange Chocolate at the store and had way more fun opening it than is probably normal. I mean, how many people photograph their chocolate because they think it's so cool?
I have this strange fascination with the German language. I don't remember when exactly this started, but I've dabbled here and there with trying to learn some German...and mostly failed at it. :D
Anyway, a while ago, my sister found this book for me called, 'German in 10 minutes a day.' It's a pretty cool book and I finally took it out and started doing some of the lessons.
This book as label stickers. *Pause for a moment.*
You can LABEL things with their German word! Now that is sheer brilliance, my friends.
I love stickers.
My little sister has gotten me started on Once Upon a Time and I'm really enjoying it. There is one thing that totally bothers me, but I'm not going to go into that right now. lol. Let's just say, Snow and Charming are a really cute couple, and their relationship should not have been mucked with. Other than that, it's really fun.
This has sort of been my song for this week. :)

My house is now proudly labeled. *Smirk*
