Snow, snow and more snow!

First off, I apologize for the long gap in my posts. I have been having a bit of writer's block and just could think of anything interesting to post about! Plus, I was really busy shoveling. :-) The whole week, last week, we got tons of snow. It just dumped and dumped. I went out to the meadow down the street from my house and took some pictures. It probably wasn't the greatest idea I've ever had. The snow was so deep I almost got stuck just trying to walk through it! You are lucky to see these picture- I almost didn't make it back! LOL. But really, the snow was super deep...I had to climb over a 10 foot burm just to get into the meadow. Even these pictures don't do the depth of the snow justice.
Happily, the forecast for this week is much nicer. The snow is already melting at an amazing rate.
Anyway, I hope you like the pictures.

F.Y.I....You haven't lived until you've shoveled...and shoveled, andshoveledandshoveledandshoveled! :-)
God Bless,
Amy

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hello, all you people!
I really wanted to do a nice post today, but alas, I couldn't think of anything 'fitting' for the day. I just wanted to be sure I wished you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day! :-)......(Did you all wear green?)
I had a lovely day. My little sisters came rushing into my room bright and early, eager to get in a 'pinch' before I put on my green. :-) I told them 'NO!'
Corn beef and cabbage is always a big deal for me. I look forward to eating it all day long. The smell is amazing on it's own merit. Luscious...yum. And to finish all that yum...shamrock shaped sugar cookies. (Yes, I know it's Lent but we do  have a little desert for this feast day. :-)
Did you all have a wonderful day? I certainly hope so. I mean, it only comes around once a year! LOL.

For your enjoyment, a song. :-) It's a sad sort of song but I think the girl's voice is sweet. I've heard a few songs from this group, (the Cottars) and I really like them.
God Bless, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
