Every now and then I re-read some Winnie the Pooh quotes and remember all the reasons why I love Pooh so much. A.A. Milne was such an under-rated author. He wrote some brilliant stuff...

“You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”

“Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
“We'll be Friends Forever, won't we, Pooh?' asked Piglet.
Even longer,' Pooh answered.”

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

“One of the advantages of being disorganized is that one is always having surprising discoveries.”

“It's snowing still," said Eeyore gloomily.
"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately.”
A.A. Milne--Winnie the Pooh.

Anyway, moving on. I've been tagged by Treskie at Occasional Randomness. Thank you, Treskie. :D

Now for the fun stuff.

1.) Do you like waffles?
Occasionally I enjoy having waffles, but they're not my favorite. I prefer French toast...with strawberries.

2.) What does, "DoooWEEEEEOOOOOO!" mean to you?
It makes me think of a mad man with a blue box.

3.) How tall are you?
I am 5' even. And quite proud of it!

4.) On a scale of one to ten, with ten being the greatest, how much do you need coffee?
Probably a six. I can live without the stuff, but I really don't like to.

5.) Would you like a Hiddleston hug?
Defo. Bring it on! :D  Come on...He's awesome.
6.) On an average, how many books do you read a year?
That's a hard one. You see, I tend to read in spurts. I'll have a month or two where I read something crazy like 5-8 books, but then I'll go a month or two without even picking up a book. It's strange, no? I do that with art and beading, too. *Shrugs* But back to the question...er, let's go with  20-ish books a year? How pathetic does that sound!

7.)Who's your favorite musical artist?
Aaaauugh! That's an impossible question! I'd have to break it into categories or something. I love so many different kinds of music...
Josh Groban is my go-to artist. I love all his music and I think he's probably my favorite.
But that being said, I am also on a Mumford and Sons kick right now. (Minus two songs which are a bit on the naughty side.)
Then we slide into the world of musicals and, and, and.....*Sigh*
So much music!

8.) How do you feel about black and white movies?
I love them. I grew up watching tons of the classics and for the better part of my life was more familiar with movie stars like Bob Hope, Ginger Rodgers, Cary Grant, Doris Day and Jimmy Stuart than with any of the modern stars. :D

9.) Favorite type of food? (Italian, American, Chinese..?)
Hmmm...I love ALL THE FOOD! But for the sake of the question, I'll go with Italian.

10.) Can you count to five?....In Swahili?
Moja, mbili, tatu, nne, tano!!!!
So there! *Thank you google translate. You are ever so useful.*

Alright, now for my questions.

1.) Rain or Snow?
2.) If your friend asked you to go bungee jumping with them, would you?
3.) If you were a criminal, what sort of criminal would you be the most likey to be? (Thief? Con-man?)
4.) Airplane or train?
5.) Have you ever broken a limb?
6.) Where you a tomboy or more of a girly-girl?
7.) If you had to pick your weapon of choice, would it be a sword, bow and arrows, or daggers?
8.) Do you prefer long hair or short?
9.) Do you have a historical hero? If so, who? If not, why NOT!!??
10.) What's your favorite time-frame in history?

I'm going to tag:
Elizabeth
Natasha Marieh
Anna Grace
Kimberly

Have fun! And thanks, Treskie, for the tag.

*Pssst* I've finally got an 'About Me' section on my blog. *Pats self on back.* I have a really hard time writing about me...so I put if off for quite a long time. But I finally got around to it. :)

God Bless,
Amy

  2. I love Winnie the Pooh. Those are some of the best books ever and I still shameless love them at 25.

Josh Groban has some of the best music. I got his new CD...by accident but I guess there are worse things one can do by accident. Wonderful music. He is brilliant, and he likes Downton Abbey and Star Trek- the old ones. I'm dead certain of this fact. And any fellow who likes a BBC show can't be that bad. *Smirk* I so just sounded like a stalker..

Can I come over for French Toast?

Sadly, no one either uses the things in kitchens to protect themselves, unless it is against Aliens. Were I in a kitchen with a murderer I'd go right for the frying pan. I'm deadly with those, I learned from Flynn Ryder.

    TRAINS!!!

    I was sooo a tomboy

    Long hair hands down

I'd love a bow and arrows please

My favorite time frame in history. That is really hard. NARROWED DOWN I going to say 1800's or Medival times. I love the American Revelution though. and there are many other time lines I'd like to see.

    God Bless!

  6. Hi, Hilda. I'm glad you like the Pooh quotes. :D

My sister used to read Pooh aloud to me when I was really little and I've loved them ever since. Good memories. :D

Jack, you have Josh's new CD? By accident? Sweet! How did you manage that? My sister has his new CD, too. I got to listen to it and I am already in love with it. He really is the best.
Please do come for some French Toast! I'd love to have you over. Coffee or tea?
You learned from Flynn Ryder, too? He's second only to Sam Gamgee. :D

Thanks, Treskie. I do look pretty stuck up in that picture. *Grin*

Hey, Bella. What about the 1800's do you love? I didn't realize you had an interest in that time-frame.

Thank you all for the comments. Love them.

    Cheers!

  7. I can see what you mean about Gus. I am on season three now and he is getting better. I wanted to pat him on the back when he told Shawn and his dad to stop fighting and just get in the car. (And they both looked shocked that he'd yell at them.)
Oh, I am almost to the one you mentioned, Lassie did a bad, bad thing. I thought of staying up extra late last night to watch it, but went to bed instead...so I might watch it tonight. It sounded good.
I guess one has to be in the mood for a show like it. At first Shawn does seem very annoying and childish. But he is a really cool character, once one gets to know him.

Now I want to meet you and your best friend....

Aw, well...it is kind of weird how I managed to accidently buy Josh Groban's CD. I think the short version was clicking on it on Itunes to see what the price was. Next thing I knew it was downloading and I yelled at it. I was looking to see if it was less on Itunes, but my plan was to buy the CD from the store. But, at least I have it now. It made it to the high top favourites of his CDs. I like all of them, but I REALLY like Awake and Illuminations, and now this one.

Tea, unless it is flavoured coffee.

Aye, agreed. Sam holds the record. He's dangerous with pans.
