In which I do some catching up

I have been tagged a few times in the last couple of weeks and I'm finally pulling it together and doing them. :)

I'll start with the "Getting to know you" tag from Miss Melody Muffin. I have to say, I love the questions on this one. It's gonna be fun!

The rules from last to first...just because I want to mix it up a little. *Grin*

3.) Tag 5-10 People and let them know you tagged them.
2.) The tagged people have to mention who it was that tagged them
1.) And Answer the Questions!

Thank you Melody! I really love getting tagged. :)

1. Coffee or Tea?
I'm a coffee sort of girl. Drink ALL the coffee!!! Becausedrinkingallthecoffeeaddssomuchawesomnesstolife!

2. You win a thousand dollars! What would be something fun that you do with it?
I think I'd like to buy a bell for my Church. Except I think bells are more expensive than a thousand dollars. And my parish does not yet own it's own building...we rent a place. But! I'd still like to buy a bell.

3. You're given the opportunity for the lead part in a play. Would you take it?
Is it a musical? YES PLEASE! :) Well, even if it wasn't a musical I'd probably still take it.

4. Would you rather sing, play an instrument or listen?
I do all three, actually, but I'd like to sing the best. Like, when I see musicals or stage performances of anything, I never think to myself, "Hey, I'd really love to be first flute in that orchestra!"...Yeah. No.
I'm like, "I want to be the lead singer, thanks very much!" lol.

5. Are you more of a chit-chat person? Or sporty?
I'm kinda a sporty girl. But I don't play any sports. *Nods* It's true! I just prefer to be outside and doing stuff. If I can be outside doing stuff with my sisters or friends and we're all chatty then I like that too. I like to chat while I sport.
I do.
I sing and play badminton at the same time all the time!  But I ramble...

6. Did you ever have an unrealistic dream as a child? If so, what was it?
I was a day-dreamer and always in my own little world. I used to wish I could get myself into some sort of an adventure...
But strangely enough, I don't think I really did have any unrealistic dreams. *Sniffle* That makes me sounds so boring! lol. I've always wanted to be a wife and mother, even when I was really little.
Oh! I guess I've always wanted to be a famous singer. (Since about 13, really.) Does that count as unrealistic  (If you say yes, you've never heard me sing. LOL! I do but jest.)

7. Have you fulfilled any of the dreams you had as a child? If so, what were they?
Well, I'm not married yet! Hehehe. And I'm still not a famous singer. So...Nope.

8. What's the one place in the world that you've always wanted to visit?
Italy has always been on the top of my list of places to visit. But if I'm being honest, I'd just like to do one of those Grand Tours they did during the 1800's. Now your talking!

9. What book character do you always find yourself imitating?
When I was younger, I liked to imitate Lark from the book "Lark." (Which, by the way, I want to do a book review on. :) She is still one of my favorite heroines  and I still rather fancy that I still act like her.

10. What's your favorite season? Why?
Honestly, I'm really adaptable season wise. I love the change of the seasons and really do enjoy all of them. Now, that being said, winter isn't at the top of the list of favorite seasons. I think summer are tied in their awesomeness and autumn is so beautiful...

11. What are some of your favorite blogs to read?
I have quite a nice list of blogs that I enjoy.
I love Jack's blog, it's really fun. :)
All of my sisters blogs are pretty fun.
I love both Natasha's blog and Kellie's blog. So sweet!
Elizabeth has a really pretty blog and I enjoy her posts a lot.
Heck, just take a look at my side bar! They're all there.

12. How long have you been blogging?
I think it's been a little over two years. To be honest, it took me the first year to just get mildly comfortable with the fact that I had a blog!

I think I'm going to not tag anyone on this tag. Just because everyone I know has already done it. So I guess it ends here.

Right. On to Bella's tag. This one is that eleven facts tag that seems to never stop going around! But that's okay.

Here I go.

Rules:
- If you are tagged/nominated, you must post eleven facts about yourself.
- Then, you must answer the eleven questions the tagger has given you and make eleven questions for the people you are going to tag.
- Next, tag eleven more bloggers. (Seriously, that's never going to happen, but whatever.)
- Tell the people you tagged that you have tagged them.
- No tagging back.

Facts.

1.) I am trying to grow a vegetable garden this year. There weather has not been much in my favor so far!
2.) I'm listening to the Phantom of the Opera right now. --"A toad, Madam? Perhaps it is you who are the Toad!"..."Croak!" ......"A-hahahaha! AAAA-Hahahahaha! Behold! She is singing to bring down the Chandelier! Aaaaaa-Hahahah!"
3.) I can whistle on my hands. And now you too can learn how to do this. Impress your friends later. Your welcome.

4.) I don't much care for chewing gum.
5.) I like the feeling of sneezing.
6.) I really love chocolate covered, frozen bananas. Recipe here. Even if you don't care for banana's you should try these. They are very yummy.
7.) I can touch all of my fingers to my wrist. It's very cool.
8.) I watched 'The Life of Pi" a few days ago and was bitterly disappointed in it. The survival story was awesome. The rest of the story was rubbish. And the zebra died.
9.) When I laugh hard, tears pour from my eyes. It's a bit annoying when I happen to be wearing make-up.
10.) I talk to  myself when I'm happy.
11.) I want to watch a Psych tonight.

*Whew!*

1. What was the most recent movie you've seen and what did you think of it?
Actually, I think it was Life of Pi. And I thought it was rubbish! As I said above, I loved the survival story that went on, but the theme was absolutely wishy-washy. And weird. And I hated grown-up Pi. How such a brave and resourceful young man could turn into such a fop as an older guy I have no idea.

2. Would you rather live on the beach or in the mountains?

I'm totally a mountain girl.

3. What's your favorite Disney Princess and why?

Oh, probably Rapunzel or Bell. They're both spunky and interesting. :)

4. What's your favorite book? (Or, if you can't decide, what are your three top favorite books?)

I refuse to answer this question!

5. Would you rather live in Narnia, Middle-Earth, or 1860's England?
Middle-Earth. The Shire please. Their gardens seem to do rather well. Or Rohan, because they are so cool.

6. Who is your favorite movie or book character?
I'm going to go with movie character and It's James J. Bradock from the Cinderella Man. He is such the best! *Gaaaaah!*

7. Have you ever heard of Focus on the Family's Father Gilbert Mysteries? If so, what do you think of them?

Er. Nope!

8. If you could pick anywhere in the world, where would you want to live when you get married?

I don't know. I love where I live now, but I'd also like to own a couple acres of land, and that doesn't really happen in this town. I'm gonna let God pick. :P

9. What's your favorite musical?
The Phantom of the Opera.

10. Cake or ice cream?
Ice Cream?

11. How many times have you been to Disney World?
I have never been to Disney world or Disney land. Sad story, isn't it?

My turn!

I am going to nominate:

And since I don't feel like making up new questions, I'm going to do the 11 I made up the last time this went around. *Smirk*

1.) Would you rather have a talking cat or be able to speak dog?

2.) Are you a sucker for period drama or action/adventure films?

3.) Do you like to wear makeup?

4.) Do you prefer tall guys or short guys?

5.) Have you ever eaten shwarma?

6.) Would you rather be a spy during WWII or the American Revolution?

7.) Are you the sort of person that prefers long hikes up in the mountains, or a dress-up tea party with some of your friends?

8.) If you had to choose one person from a TV show to go on a date with, who would it be? It HAS to be a TV show character and yes, you HAVE to pretend you'd get the chance to go on a date. *Smirk*

9.) Would you rather live in the city or out in the country?

10.) Would you rather sing in front of a large audience, or give a speech?

11.) Would you rather take a dance class or learn how to fence?

So there you have it, my friends. *Wipes brow wearily.*  Now I must go and drink some tea. And watch a Psych. 'Heeeeere's Lassie"...Perhaps.

God Bless!
Amy

  1. Heeeeeeeere's Lassie! is a great Psych! (Is that enough e's? Or too many e's?)

I find it peculiar you like the feeling of sneezing. I guess there is a sense of relief in the after sneeze, when your nose is all runny and the tickle is gone and your head feels all light and fluffy on the inside...

  2. Awww, thanks for the tag! I still don't know if I can muster up the courage to let out the deepest secrets of my soul--which surely would be the result of answering such questions :-). But I am giving it some serious thought, 'cause you came up with some good 'uns!

  3. Also, thanks for the opinions on "Life of Pi." The story sounded intriguing in the abstract, but I hadn't made up my mind whether it was as good as it sounded, and therefore worth watching. You may not have saved my life, but you saved an hour and a bit of it, yeah?

  4. Thanks for the video... My cousin had taught me how to make farting sounds using a similar method as in the video, LOL!!

  7. Hello, Peoples! *Waves*

Kat, I think it's the feeling of relief that I love so much...not the runny nose part. :)

Your welcome, Molly. Hehehe--I'd love to see the deepest secrets of your soul! Mrhrhrhr!
Na, you don't have to do the tag, but I bet your answers would be fun to read.
Yep, Do. NOT. WATCH. THAT. MOVIE! That's a good two hours of your life that you'll never get back. *Snark*

Well, Hilda, you're welcome! Though I think whistling on your fingers is rather more pleasant than the other noise. lol.

Oh, yay! I'm looking forward to your answers. Thanks for taking it.

Hello, John! I so wish I were on vacation, but sadly no. I'm not. But when I do go, you are most welcome to join me! If you bring cookies. :)

  8. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the comment! I always love hearing from you!

Glad to hear you like Clara! She is a lot of fun. She is now one of my favourites. She's just so sweet and quirky and brave. I can't wait to see more of her.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has mixed feelings on the missing arc rector. Can you imagine him in the Avengers 2 without the glowy thing in his chest? It will seem so weird. I mean, if I was him I'd have it taken out to...but still! That's part of what changed him in the first place. And I know he's still him, but it feels as if part of him went missing. (Maybe I'll get used to it once I see him in a movie without it.)
But HE'S IRON MAN! He's so cool with his arc reactor! Ghaaaaaa!

I too liked Tony in the new movie though. I mean, we got to see the side of him he always keeps hidden, and see how much he cares for everyone he loves and how much he is willing to do for them. He doesn't hide behind his armor, which was VERY cool.

If we ever meet we should have a Star Wars marathon. (*Snicker.* My mum watches them for Hans Solo too. I think I watch them for Luke. *Grin*)
