Something Blue~

Alright. I'm having a mind blank again tonight. So I'm going to jump to the song again. Who needs formalities?

Song
11.) A song from your favorite band.

I really enjoy a lot of Mumford and Sons' music. *Blushes.*
I know that they do some unusual stuff and the main singer does have a rough sort of voice...but I still like them.
I just find it really refreshing to have a band write about things other than love and break-up.

This song, Roll Away Your Stone, is awesome. It's sort of a prodigal son song, and that makes me happy.

Roll away your stone, I'll roll away mine
Together we can see what we will find
Don't leave me alone at this time
For I am afraid of what I will discover inside

'Cause you told me that I would find a hole
Within the fragile substance of my soul
And I have filled this void with things unreal
And all the while my character it steals

Darkness is a harsh term don't you think?
And yet it dominates the things I see

It seems that all my bridges have been burnt
But you say that's exactly how this grace thing works.
It's not the long walk home that will change this heart
But the welcome I receive with every start

Darkness is a harsh term don't you think?
And yet it dominates the things I see
Darkness is a harsh term don't you think?
And yet it dominates the things I see

Stars hide your fires
These here are my desires
And I will give them up to you this time around
And so I'll be found
With my stake stuck in this ground
Marking the territory of this newly impassioned soul

Hide your fires
These here are my desires
And I will give them up to you this time around
And so I'll be found
With my stake stuck in this ground
Marking the territory of this newly impassioned soul

But you, you've gone too far this time
You have neither reason nor rhyme
With which to take this soul that is so rightfully mine

If you don't like this song, I totally understand. It's a bit different. It took me a while to decide that I liked Mumford and Sons. But once I did, I became a little addicted.

Picture.
11.) Something blue.

If only I had a TARDIS. *Sigh*
That would be the picture to end all pictures.

Oh well. Here is a collection of some of my favorite blue things.

I'm trying really hard to think up something profound to leave you with, but I'm so out of things to say. I refuse to backspace yet again. So I'm just going to say Goodnight and leave it at that.

God Bless!
Amy
